The company had received a bid to be acquired by JetBlue Airways (NAS: JBLU) for $3.6 billion on April 5, 2022. Subsequently, the deal was canceled on May 2, 2022. Previously, the company reached a definitive agreement to be acquired by Frontier Airlines (NAS: ULCC) for approximately $1.49 billion on February 7, 2022.
